Recent status of fabrication and integration technologies for superconducting circuits in FLUXONICS

M. Schmelz, J. Kunert, L. Kaczmarek, S. Mechold, S. Gopala Reddy, G. Oelsner and the FLUXONICS consortium (IPHT)

Within this talk FLUXONICS will be briefly introduced and an overview on the recently available technologies will be provided. This will include the history, state, and future developments of FLUXONICS.
After the introduction, the focus is laid on the available FLUXONICS fabrication technologies together with application examples such as superconducting digital electronic (SDE and therein mainly RSFQ and AQFP) circuits, SQUIDs for various research fields, and microwave devices. Recent results on the characterization of AQFP circuits at very low temperatures will be shown. This enables them to be operated nearby superconducting quantum circuits.
We will expand towards Aluminium-based fabrication and integration technologies for quantum computing and sensing which will be integrated into future FLUXONICS portfolio.
